This report presents information on the housing purchasing power of Haitian households living in the Port au Prince metropolitan area in summer 2011. The report was prepared by NORC for the FS Share project with primary data collected and demand survey administered by the Haitian firm BRIDES.
The purpose of this Contract is to address the underlying public and private sector enabling environment which will allow Haitian enterprises to invest and trade efficiently and effectively by: 1) giving the Government of Haiti the capacity to negotiate effectively in the competitive global market; 2) building public sector institutional and ministerial capacity in areas related to investment and trade policy; and 3) addressing weaknesses at the level of private sector institutions.
I-Trade has three primary objectives: 1) increase GoH capacity to negotiate trade agreements, 2) work with public sector institutions to support business growth and trade, and 3) address weakness in private sector trade support institutions.
