The purpose of this task order is to build upon past assistance provided to APEC by the US government and to create an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Technical Assistance and Training Facility that will assist APEC and the Secretariat in furthering Regional Economic Integration (REI) and the Bogor Goals three broad areas to promote of free and open trade and investment in the Asia-Pacific region by 2010 for developed economies and 2020 for developing economies.
